Usage of drinking water sources in Cameroon 2019
In Cameroon, about 65 percent of the population used at least basic drinking water services as of 2019. This meant that nearly seven out of 10 Cameroonians used an improved drinking water source where collection time is not more than 30 minutes for a round trip, including queuing. Furthermore, roughly half of the population in Cameroon used improved drinking water sources available when needed, which means they had access to improved drinking water sources free of fecal and priority chemical contamination when needed.
