According to a survey conducted in April 2020 among investors in the United States, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic had a relatively larger impact on the net worth of wealthier investors. In fact, 30 percent of investors with a net worth between 15 and 25 million U.S. dollars lost a significant amount of their net worth because of the pandemic. On the other hand, the coronavirus pandemic had a significant impact on the net worth of only 22 percent of investors with a net worth between 100 and 499 thousand U.S. dollars.
