During a July 2021 survey of U.S. shoppers' habits, 30 percent of respondents said they preferred to get groceries delivered on the same day of purchase. Another 12 percent chose 'within the hour' as their favorite delivery timeline in the grocery segment. Users seemed more willing to receive most of the remaining products the next day or within two to three days of purchase.
