Leading app categories in Portugal Q3 2020, by reach

According to a survey of internet users in Portugal, during the third quarter of 2020, social networking apps were the leading apps by reach, with 96.2 percent of the country's digital population using social media via apps. Chat apps had a similarly high reach, with approximately 96 percent of the internet users in the country using apps like WhatsApp and Messenger. Entertainment apps had a usage rate of more than 86 percent in the examined period, ranking as the third leading app category for internet users in Portugal.
