Leading app categories in Belgium Q3 2020, by reach

According to a survey of internet users in Belgium conducted during the third quarter of 2020, chat apps had the highest reach in the country, with almost 90 percent of the Belgian digital population using apps like WhatsApp and Messenger. Music apps reached almost half of the respondents, with a usage rate of 47.5 percent. By comparison, dating and friendship apps reported low usage rates, with less than one in ten internet users in the country reporting using this app category.
