Japan: impact of COVID-19 on planned domestic construction investment 2021

In a survey conducted in December 2021, 89.2 percent of private companies in Japan stated that they would carry out their construction investment plans for the next quarter and beyond as planned. While 10.1 percent postponed their investment plans, only 0.8 percent reported investing earlier than planned.
