A July 2021 survey to understand shopping habits in Spain revealed that 13 percent of shoppers preferred to receive their grocery orders within the hour of purchase. Alcohol and food products were also among the categories with the fastest delivery timelines expected by Spaniards. For non-food categories such as home furnishings and apparel, consumers generally chose longer waiting times such as two to three business days or next-day delivery.
