At-risk-of-poverty rate among foreign-born citizens in the Nordic countries 2011-2023

Of the Nordic countries, Sweden has had the highest at-risk-of-poverty rate among the foreign-born population since 2013. In 2023, 28 percent of Sweden's foreign-born citizens were at risk of poverty. Iceland has the lowest rate, with 13 percent in 2019, the last year for which numbers are available for the country. The at-risk-of-poverty rate among Finland's foreign-born citizens decreased by over 10 percentage points over the last decade.
