The holiday season is the busiest period for retail. In the United States, leading retailers like Walmart and Target are already preparing for 2021's holiday season by strengthening their workforce. Walmart announced its plans to acquire around 170,000 extra hires to support operations during the season. The online retail giant Amazon also announced that it would hire 150,000 temporary staff members during the holiday season.
