According to a survey conducted in August 2021,16 percent of mobile app users in Indonesia met their current romantic partner via a mobile app, ranking first among all surveyed countries. The UAE followed closely in second place with 14 percent of respondents having met their partner via app and India ranking third with 12 percent. Germany and Hong Kong surveyed the lowest rate at five percent.

How did you meet your current romantic partner?
According to the source: "The data is based on the interviews of adults aged 18 and over in 17 markets with sample sizes varying between 509 and 2,124 for each market. All interviews were conducted online in August 2021. Data from each market uses a nationally representative sample apart from Mexico and India, which use urban representative samples, and Indonesia and Hong Kong, which use online representative samples."
