The majority of respondents in Finland in 2021 believed that the biggest advantage of short-term rentals offered via sharing economy platforms was that they made travelling more affordable. A further 58 percent of the respondents found that the biggest advantage of accommodation options offered via collaborative economy platforms was that that they served as additional source of income for the hosts.
