According to a survey conducted in November 2019 among Chinese tourists from the nine Greater Bay Area cities, the greatest advantage of shopping in Hong Kong was the wide selection of brands, with around 65 percent of respondents agreeing to it. Meanwhile, 56 percent of the respondents stated that the authenticity of products was another advantage of Hong Kong's retail sector.
