According to a survey conducted in November 2019, more than 80 percent of female Chinese tourists from the nine Greater Bay Area cities purchased skincare or cosmetic products when they visited Hong Kong. Clothing and footwear are also popular among Chinese tourists in Hong Kong, with nearly 60 percent of the male respondents purchasing them before.
