The very same Latin America and the Caribbean followed second as the most popular destination of emigrants from this region.

International migrant stock is an estimation of the number of people born in a country other than that in which they live. It also includes refugees. The data used to estimate the international migrant stock at a particular time are obtained from population censuses. Additionally, population registers and nationally representative surveys provided
