Major reasons for not implementing BIM among construction companies in Japan 2021
The leading reason for not implementing building information modeling (BIM) among construction companies in Japan was that clients did not request it, as revealed in a survey conducted between December 2020 and January 2021. While 295 companies reported not using BIM because there were no requests from customers, 280 businesses stated that they could smoothly complete their tasks using computer-aided design (CAD).
