According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in Taiwan, a majority of respondents reported that they changed their preferred time to go shopping to avoid crowds. In particular, 76 percent of respondents stated that they avoid shopping during peak hours. In contrast, five percent of respondents stated that they have less time now to shop due to work and other priorities.
