Multidimensionally poor population in India 2021
As of 2021, India reached an intensity of deprivation score of almost 42 percent. During the same period, approximately 4.2 percent of surveyed households were reportedly living in severe multidimensional poverty, whereas about 18.7 percent of the population was at risk of suffering multidimensional deprivations.
