According to a study conducted in early 2021, food and beverages were the products that most integrated into Mexicans' online shopping repertoire during the COVID-19 pandemic. Approximately 28 percent of respondents said they had started shopping online for products in this category due to the health crisis. Meanwhile, 23 percent said they had started buying medicines online.
