In a survey on shopping behavior in Singapore conducted by Rakuten Insight, 76 percent of respondents aged 55 years and above stated that they changed their preferred shopping time to avoid crowds during peak shopping hours. Meanwhile, 11 percent of respondents from the same age group changed their preferred shopping time because they tried to get all their shopping done in one trip now.
