According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021, approximately 80 percent of the respondents who were 55 years old and older in Thailand stated that they tried not to shop during peak hours to avoid crowds. Meanwhile, around 18 percent of the participants aged between 25 to 34 years old reported that they were able to shop during certain times only due to the COVID-19 measures in the country.
