According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021, approximately 72 percent of Thai female respondents stated that they avoided shopping during peak hours. Meanwhile, around 19 percent of the male participants reported that they were able to shop during certain times only due to the COVID-19 measures in the country.
