Germany hours spent on selected mobile app categories Q3 2021

In the most recently examined quarter, engagement levels of app users in Germany have remained consistent with the first half of 2021. Mobile gaming apps reported 1.6 billion hours in time spent from users in the country, up by six percent from the second quarter of 2021. Additionally, users in the country spent 294 million hours on entertainment apps in the latest examined quarter. By comparison, shopping and sports apps reported a small decrease in time spent and engagement levels, with 220 million hours and 35 million hours spent on these app categories, respectively.
