A survey conducted in 2021 showed that nearly half of Mexicans share the belief that society is broken. Only 16 percent of respondents claimed to disagree that Mexico's society is fractured. On the other hand, in another Latin American country, Brazil, 72 percent of people agreed that their country's society is broken.
