According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2024, about 35 percent of wage and salary earners said they had taken advantage of the flexible commuting option, up slightly from around 33 percent the previous year. While the share of workers using flexible commuting options has increased, the share of those working from home or remotely has decreased over the last three years.
