Value of GDP contributions in Ghana 2020, by economic activity
As of 2020, the highest value contributed to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Ghana came from services. This reached more than 65.2 billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS), roughly 10.7 billion U.S. dollars. Moreover, industries in the country contributed around 46.1 billion GHS to the GDP, while the value added by agriculture reached approximately 33.6 billion GHS. The GDP growth rates of both economic sectors were projected to decrease in 2021.
