According to an August 2021 study, nearly half of consumers aged 18 to 25 surveyed in the U.S. said they use YouTube as a source of inspiration for holiday shopping. In general, consumers in this age group, commonly referred to as Gen Z, are the most influenced by social media when buying holiday gifts.
