In a survey on shopping behavior in Singapore conducted by Rakuten Insight, 38 percent of female respondents and 29 percent of male respondents stated that they now spent less per purchase from a physical store and shopped less often than before the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, six percent of respondents from both genders stated that they shopped more frequently and spent more per purchase due to COVID-19.
