In a survey on shopping behavior in Singapore conducted by Rakuten Insight, 37 percent of respondents from both genders stated that they spent between 50 to 100 Singapore dollars per shopping trip in a physical store. The same survey revealed that more than 30 percent of respondents reported shopping less frequently and spending less per purchase than before the pandemic.
