According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in India, 47 percent respondents between the age of 45 and 54 years stated that they changed their preferred time to go shopping in a physical store in order to avoid crowds. Other 30 percent respondents in the age group of 35 years and above stated that their preferred time to go shopping has changed as they have less time due to juggling work from home and other care duties.
