Around 52 percent of consumers in Nigeria would pay more for higher quality home electronics, according to a survey conducted in 2018. Similarly, 51 percent of respondents in Ethiopia reported that they were willing to pay more for premium home electronics. In general, consumers in the 12 African markets surveyed did not value quality over price for such items.
