Around 53 percent of consumers in Nigeria would pay more for higher quality home appliances, according to a survey conducted in 2018. Similarly, 49 percent of respondents in Ethiopia reported that they were willing to pay more for premium home appliances. On the other hand, only 12 percent of consumers in Uganda would have the same behavior.
