According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in India, 69 percent of female and 75 percent of male respondents reported that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed their preferred time to go shopping. A much smaller share of respondents reported no change in shopping time preference.
