According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in India, 29 percent of both male and female shoppers stated that they spent between 500 and 1,000 India rupees on average during in-store shopping trips. Only 12 percent of males and nine percent of females reported that they spent more then 2,000 rupees on average during in-store shopping trips.
