Consumer leverage ratio in Russia Q1 2020-Q2 2021
The consumer leverage ratio, which reflects the amount of debt average consumer holds compared to their disposable income, has been growing in Russia. Average CLR is advised to be between ten to 20 percent. A higher CLR is an indicator of debt problems. In the second quarter of 2021, the average consumer leverage ratio exceeded 61 percent, compared to 60.7 percent in the previous quarter.
