According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in the Philippines, mornings and evenings were the preferred shopping time for male and female shoppers. In particular, 42 percent of male shoppers and 41 percent of female shoppers stated that they preferred to shop in-store in the afternoons. On the other hand, 36 percent of male shoppers and 34 percent of female shoppers said that they prefer to shop in the mornings.
