According to a survey of Singaporeans' retirement knowledge as well as their engagement in the Central Provident Fund (CPF) in May 2021, 89 percent of respondents were aware of the CPF scheme for retirement. However, the share of respondents who indicated their intention to make use of the scheme was less than that, at 53 percent.
