According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in the Philippines, a majority of male and female shoppers stated that they spent between a thousand and five thousand Philippine pesos on average during in-store shopping trips. On the other hand, less than 10 percent of both male and female respondents stated that they spent between five thousand and 10 thousand Philippine pesos on average.
