Major reasons to buy cosmetics on resale platforms among women in Japan 2021
The leading reason to buy cosmetics on C2C e-commerce platforms among women in Japan was to acquire the products cheaper as revealed in a survey conducted in September 2021. While almost two-thirds of female respondents wanted to buy cosmetics even just a little bit cheaper via resale platforms, less than one percent considered the procurement via private individuals on auction and flea market platforms safer and more trustworthy.
