Most common cosmetics bought after sampling among women in Japan 2021
Skincare and basic cosmetics were the leading cosmetic products women in Japan hesitated to purchase without a tester or sample as revealed in a survey conducted in September 2021. The majority of female respondents showed the most hesitation in regards to facial cosmetics, with over 75 percent preferring product samples of skincare goods and base makeup items before making purchase decisions.
