Students' and parents' opinions on COVID-19 vaccine safety in South Korea 2021

According to a survey conducted in 2021, around 50.9 percent of students in South Korea as well as 57.6 percent of their parents stated that they considered the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine to be safe. Over a quarter of students and parents respectively believed the vaccine to be unsafe. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 years became eligible to get vaccinated on October 5, 2021. The majority of South Korean students were willing to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in 2021.
