Importance of various features for U.S. consumers' next vehicle purchase 2020
Blind spot warning was the most popular feature for new vehicle purchases by U.S. consumers. 70 percent of respondents identified it as a somewhat important or very important add-on for their next vehicle purchase. Automatic emergency braking ranked second in U.S. consumers' priorities. By contrast, semi-autonomous drive modes were unpopular, with only 32 percent of all respondents mentioning the feature as important in their buying process.
