It was estimated that in 2020 around 11 percent of the population aged 15 and older in Spain had been diagnosed with chronic allergies, the most affected region in relative figures was Murcia. However, Cantabria was the community with the largest share of people within this age group diagnosed with asthma. The area with the lowest share of asthma diagnoses was Aragon, while that with the lowest share of chronic allergies was Melilla.
