Over 30 percent of the people responding to a survey published in Brazil in June 2021 said their consumption of medicinal and health products had increased during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. When it came to self-care, however, nearly 50 percent of respondents stated their consumption of products in that category had decreased since the pandemic started. Similarly, over 60 percent of respondents said they bought fewer clothing items, but 32 percent expressed the intent to buy more fashion products in 2021.
