Women in LMICs with an unmet need for modern contraception 2000-2019
This statistic shows the number of women of reproductive age in low- and middle-income countries with an unmet need for modern contraception in 2000 and 2019. In 2019, around 218 million women of reproductive age did not use any modern contraceptives but wanted to avoid pregnancy, an increase from around 194 million women in 2000.
