Lightricks apps: global paid subscribers 2019 and 2021
In 2019, Lightricks Ltd. reported having approximately three million paid subscribers across its photo and video editing app portfolio. In 2021, the company almost doubled its paid subscribers count, with industry sources reporting five million paid subscribers. Lightricks, which is known for being the publisher of mobile editing app Facetune, was among the first companies to bet on the subscription model to monetize its apps. In September 2021, the mobile software development company was valued at 1.8 billion U.S. dollars, after acquiring its unicorn status in 2019.
