The coffee shop industry in the United States is a lucrative one, however, some cities are more well-known than others for their coffee shops. With almost 75 thousand Google searches, Denver, Colorado was the most searched for city for coffee shops in the United States in the 12 months prior to September 2021. Second in the ranking came Nashville, Tennessee, with almost 68 thousand Google searches for coffee shops connected with the city.

In 2021, the global brand value of Starbucks came second in size only to the quick service restaurant giant, McDonald’s.
