In January 2024, a total of 77.1 percent of The Economist newspaper's editorial staff were white and British, marking an increase from 2023. Meanwhile, the share of Asian employees remained almost the same, whilst Black employees accounted for 2.2 percent of the workforce in 2024, up from the previous year.
