A survey conducted in the United Kingdom (UK) in early 2024 on children's news consumption revealed that 60 percent of children aged 12 to 15 years old got their news and updates by talking with their family. Those aged 15 years old were the most likely to get news via social media, whereas 12 to 13-year-olds were more inclined to get news via TV.
