According to a survey conducted in South Korea from September to October 2020, more than 30 percent of respondents answered that their workplace had maintained flexible work arrangements since the COVID-19 outbreak, such as working from home, flexible commuting, or selective working hours. In contrast, 65 percent of respondents had not adopted the telework system at all.

**A telework system is when people work in a remote office adjacent to their place of residence or anywhere outside the office using information and communication devices.
***A selective working hours system allows employees to start and end work at different times by setting only the total weekly working hours and leaving the daily working hours to the discretion of the employees.
****A flexible commuting system allows employees to start and end work at different times. The total daily working hours can not exceed the limit of eight hours per day.
