Between 2009 and 2020, the government of the Russia spent approximately 2.7 trillion Russian rubles on the improvement of living conditions under the maternity capital program. Furthermore, over the period observed, Russian parents received the total of about 128 billion Russian rubles in the form of single payments that were offered from 2009 to 2011 and from 2015 to 2016. The government expended nearly 63 billion Russian rubles on financing children's education when families decided to spend their maternity capital on that.
